Search

Search queries are sent to a third-party search provider (Google Programmable Search) to produce results. Fresh Folder caches recent search results to speed up repeat searches; the cache does not store who made a search, only the query text and results. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing the search you asked for (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Reviews

When you leave a star rating or comment on a website, we store the rating, comment, the website's hostname, the time, and your IP address. The IP address is used only to limit each visitor to one rating per website and to prevent abuse; it is never shown publicly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the ratings trustworthy and free of spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is kept for as long as the review is published, and we delete it on request. Please do not put personal data in comments.

Cookies and analytics

Fresh Folder uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how the site is used. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (they identify a browser anonymously and, per Google's defaults, last up to two years). Nothing from Google is loaded and no analytics cookie is set unless you click Accept in the cookie banner. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll.).

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (the key cookie_consent, no cookie). You can change or withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing removes the analytics cookies. The theme (light/dark) preference is also kept in local storage. A separate debug cookie is set only if you explicitly enable a diagnostics view of the site and is not used for tracking.

Server logs

Our web server and hosting provider process technical logs (IP address, time, requested address, browser type) to run and secure the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and transfers to the USA

Data may be processed by Google (search results and, with your consent, analytics) and by our hosting and delivery providers. Some of them are based in, or process data in, the USA; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. See Google's privacy policy.

Accounts and payments

Fresh Folder has no user accounts, does not process payments, and does not collect names, addresses, or payment details.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time.
